Restoration services, guide and tips plus colour paint codes...

As of June 2024 (following the retirement of previous owner) all workshop restoration and servicing work has moved to Yorkshire where experienced motorcycle engineer David Pettinger has acquired and moved all our workshop equipment and specialist tools etc. David will continue to offer full restoration and other services for all classic and contemporary Honda motorcycles.

Detailed restoration required the complete dismantle of each project bike down to the last nut and bolt and focus on restoring each classic Honda to as close as possible original factory specification and finish, with particular attention to original fixings such as nuts, washers, bolts and screws.

Over the past 10-years Honda Classics Restoration Services has fully restored over 30 classic Honda motorcycles for private clients as well as for The David Silver Honda Collection museum. From a 1957 Benly JC-57 to a 1964 CZ100 Monkey; 1985 NS400R and 1986 ATC250ES Big Red as well as a number of 1979 CBX 6-cylinder models and a fleet of 1960s/70s Honda Police bikes. Each classic Honda was given equal attention to detail.

For the home restorer, we offer a guide/tips document which you may find helpful? Its free to download and print off from our Restoration Tips page...

Also, in this section we provide information on model colour paint codes and names.
