CB250N Super Dream
1978-86
249cc, 2-cylinder, OHC, 6-valve, 6-speed
The CB250N Super Dream was very popular in the UK due to the licensing laws at the time allowing learners to ride any motorcycle with a capacity up to 250cc. In 1980 the CB250N was the most popular selling bike in the UK with over 17,000 bikes sold in that year alone. Its popularity in the UK only waned when in 1983 the maximum size of learner machines was reduced to 125cc. Other countries however continued with the model till 1986.
The CB250N Super Dream remained basically the same through out its life from 1978 to 1986 with just cosmetic changes.

CB400N Super Dream
1978-86
395cc, 2-cylinder, OHC, 6-valve, 6-speed
The CB400N Super Dream was very similar to the CB250N variant. However, it differed with its larger engine capacity; twin front brake discs and a halogen head light.
The instrument panel had different markings for the rev counter and speedometer to reflect the lower maximum engine speed and higher top speed of the 400N.
Like the CB250N the CB400N remained basically the same with just cosmetic revisions during its life from 1978 to 1986
